Lyme-Aid Disease and Pets

Lyme disease doesn't just affect people; your pets can be infected too. Pets experience some of the same symptoms as humans when infected with Lyme disease, including: fever, swollen joints, pain, loss of appetite, and fatigue. There is a vaccine available for dogs, however, it is unclear how effective this vaccine is in preventing the disease. There are also safety concerns associated with the vaccine, including serious allergic reactions that can result in death.
